RESEARCH AND EXPERTISE
As a researcher, writer, counselor, and instructor, Dr, Luther Smith maintains a dual emphasis in Biblical studies, and Counseling, valuing the link between both disciplines. With respect to Biblical Studies Dr. Smith focuses on a consistent literal-grammatical historical (and cultural) hermeneutic underscoring the importance of proper exegesis and exposition of the Scriptures in its immediate and general context. His emphasis considers the interdependence of psychology, sociology, religion, philosophy, ethics, politics, art and entertainment, and how the Bible speaks to each subject.
Dr. Smith continues to teach in the classroom, and at scholarly meetings and conferences. He is committed to continual research and publication.
